Pineapple Jam

There is only one thing that satisfies a warm loaf of bread that is this fresh homemade jam. Homemade jams are always fresh and clean. Jams taste so heavenly when made as jam sandwiches and toasted with real butter.

Pineapple  Puree- 3 cups

Sugar-1 cup

Pineapple Essence-1 tsp(Optional)


  • Peel and chop pineapple into cubes and make a puree without adding any water. (For 3 cups of pineapple puree,add1 cup sugar, So adjust the sugar accordingly. )
  • Pour them into a heavy bottom pan add sugar and mix well on medium to low flame. Cook for 15 to 25 minutes or until the sugar is fully dissolved and get a little thick. You can add pineapple essence at this stage and mix well.
  • Allow it to cool completely
  • Store in a clean and dried airtight jar and refrigerate it. It stays good for 2 weeks if stored in a clean, dry, airtight bottle. Always use a clean and dry spoon while handling this.

Enjoy this jam by spreading it on bread !!
