Ayala Curry – Mackerel Fish Curry Malabar/Kerala Style

Bachelor Special Recipe: A very easy and simple recipe for making delicious Ayala curry (Mackerel Fish).

Ingredients

Ayala-5-6 pieces
Chilly powder – 3tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Salt- as required
Tamarind -2
Curry leaves-few
Ginger- 1tsp chopped
Green chilly- 3-4
Onion- 5-6 finely chopped
Garlic -5 chopped
Oil-as required
Water – 1 -2 glass

Method

• Clean the fish and boil it by adding chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, tamarind curry leaves, and water.
• Season mustard in hot oil. Put chopped onion, curry leaves, garlic, and ginger.
• Add this to the fish curry.
• You will get a different taste if you add coconut milk into it.
