Paneer has now become a common item on our plate.It is a rich source of milk protein. Paneer can be easily made at home with milk and is completely vegetarian. A variety of dishes can be prepared out of paneer.Paneer butter masala, palak paneer, paneer tikka, mattar paneer and the list goes on.
Here i would like to share another wonderful dish using Paneer- Honey Glazed Paneer
This dish is an easy snack and can also be used as a starter. As the name itself says,it is made from paneer with the combination of honey.
Here goes the recipes.
Ingredients
Paneer- 200 gms
Maida- 3tbsp
Cornflour- 1 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Egg- 1
Salt-
Oil-for frying paneer
Onion- 2 finely choped
Ginger- 1 tsp choped finely
Garlic- 1tsp choped finely
Kashmiri chliiy powder-2 tsp
Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
Honey – 1 tsp
Spring onion- for garnishing
Method
- In a bowl mix maida, cornflour,pepper ,egg and salt to make a thick batter. Add paneer pieces into the batter. Ensure that the paneer pieces are coated well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the paneer until golden brown in colour .Remove them and place them into a kitchen napkin to remove the excess oil. Keep it aside.
- Cook 2 onions in same oil. Add ginger and garlic and saute for 1 min on high flame.. Add kashmiri chilly powder and tomato sauce.
- Add fried paneer into this and mix well. Add 1 tsp honey, cover it and cook for 5 minutes.Ensure that all the ingredients are combined well.
- Garnish with onion spring.

- Heat oil in a pan and Fry the paneer . Keep it aside.

- Add fried paneer into this and add 1tsp honey, cover it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with onion spring.
