Egg Chutney Kebab

A very simple dish which requires less ingredients and it doesn’t consume much of our time.This can be used as a snack and also can be served during Ramadan season(noombu thura item).
This dish can be prepared using the readily available ingredients in our kitchen,so if you have some surprise guests you could easily surprise your guests by preparing this delicious and tasty Egg Kebab.
For those who doesn’t like egg(especially children),you could surely surprise them with this very special taste of egg by this egg kebab.I hope you would try this very soon.

 

Here goes the recipes..

Ingredients

Egg -2  hard boiled
Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Ginger- 1 tsp
Garlic- 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves- few
Coriander leaves-  a big handful
Green chilly-1-2
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Egg white – 2
Oil- for deep frying

Salt

Method

  • Grind together grated coconut,ginger,garlic,green chilly,curry leaves,coriander leaves. Add lime juice into this and make a  smooth paste.Keep this aside.
  • Cut the boiled eggs into two halves( length wise).(Dip the knife in hot water so that egg yolk will remain with the egg white.)
  • Cover the cut  side of egg with the chutney and keep it aside.
  • Beat the egg white lightly.
  • Heat oil in a pan,now dip the egg into the egg white mix and deep fry the egg.Repeat the process with all the eggs.

 

Serve hot with tomato sauce.
