Paneer Samosa

Making samosa at home is not that difficult as we think.You can make delicious samosa at home by following the instructions.There are spicy as well as sweet samosa.Here is the recipes for a samosa using paneer fillings.One could try making samosa using different fillings such as chicken,vegetables etc.Samosa


For filling

Paneer( grated)- 200g
Chilly powder -1 tp
Garam masala -1 tp
Coriander leaves(cut into tiny pieces)- 1 tp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Salt -3/4 tsp
Jeera powder-1/2 tsp
Onion(cut into tiny pieces)-1

For the dough

Maida – 250 g
Hot oil -2 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Sugar- 2tsp


  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the Onion well.
  • Add paneer,chilly powder,Garam Masala powder,jeera powder and salt into it and mix well.stir it for around 30 sec.
  • Add corinder leaves into it and fry for adout 30 sec.
  • Allow this mix to cool down.
  • Sieve maida and salt and put them together in a bowl and mix well and keep it aside.
  • Add 2 tsp oil and mix well till it comes to a state of bread powder.After that add water and make a dough.
  • Roll them into small pooris.
  • Cut each poori into two.
  • Put 1 tsp paneer filling into each and fold.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry each of these.

Enjoy Hot Samosa with Tomato sauce !!!
