Carrot Halwa/ Gajar Halwa

Ingredients
  • Grated Carrot- 2 cups
  • Sugar- ½ cup
  • Milk-2 cups
  • Ghee- 1 tbsp
  • Raisins- 1 tbsp
  • Flaked badam-1 tbsp
  • Cardamon powder- a pinch
Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a pan and roast cashews and raisins.Keep it aside
  2. Now add carrot and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add milk into the carrot and pressure cook for one whistle.
  4. When the pressure releases, cook on low flame till the milk evaporates.
  5. Add sugar and mix and cook till the mix becomes thick.
  6. Add cardamon powder,raisins and cashews and cook for another 2-3 second.
  7. Carrot halwa is now ready.Serve this delicious carrot halwa hot or warm.
