- Grated Carrot- 2 cups
- Sugar- ½ cup
- Milk-2 cups
- Ghee- 1 tbsp
- Raisins- 1 tbsp
- Flaked badam-1 tbsp
- Cardamon powder- a pinch
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast cashews and raisins.Keep it aside
- Now add carrot and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add milk into the carrot and pressure cook for one whistle.
- When the pressure releases, cook on low flame till the milk evaporates.
- Add sugar and mix and cook till the mix becomes thick.
- Add cardamon powder,raisins and cashews and cook for another 2-3 second.
- Carrot halwa is now ready.Serve this delicious carrot halwa hot or warm.
