Ingredients
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Soyasauce- 3 tsp
  • Chicken cooked and shredded- ½ cup
  • Carrot- ½ cup
  • Beans - ½ cup
  • Cabbage - ½ cup
  • Onion- ½ cup
  • Garlic- 3 -4
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. In a bowl ,take maida and salt and make the dough as you make for poori or chappati by adding water . Make small balls like that of poori.
  2. Roll in each balls to make a uniform circle.
  3. Place one sheet on top of the other sheet and again roll in to get a single sheet. Do the same with remaining.
  4. Heat a tawa and cook the Lumpia sheet by turning the sides in between until you get the two sheets get  separated.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, chopped onion ,green chilly and saute.
  6. Stir in chopped carrots,beans ,cabbage , capsicum and other vegetables of your choice. Add cooked and shredded chicken and cook for a minute or so .
  7. Check for salt and add pepper powder and soya sauce and stir. Remove from fire.
  8. Mix 3 tbsp maida with little water in a small bowl and make  a paste.Keep it aside.
  9. Place 3 Tbsp of the filling diagonally near one corner of each wrapper, leaving a 1½ inch space at both ends. Fold the side along the length of the filling over the filling, tuck in both ends, and roll neatly. Keep the roll tight as you assemble. Moisten the other side of the wrapper with maida paste to seal the edge. Do the same with all .
  10. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry each lumpia until golden brown.Since the sheet and fillings are already cooked it doesn't require much time .It will be ready in a minute.Hot and Tasty lumpia is now ready to serve..
