Ingredients
  • Red Raw Rice(Njavara Ari)-1/2cup
  • Cumin seeds-1tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds-1tsp
  • Chada kuppa-1tsp
  • Mustard seeds-1tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
  • Asaali-1tsp
  • Water-4-5cups
  • Grated Coconut -3tbsp
Instructions
  1. Soak red raw rice, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds,assali, for 20 minutes.
  2. and soak kakkum kaya for 7-8 hours.
  3. Wash everything well..
  4. Grind fennel seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Chadu kuppa, coconut, turmeric powder, and kakkum kaya by adding water to a fine paste.
  5. Soak and wash the rice and cook by adding water for one whistle in medium heat.
  6. When the rice is cooked well add the ground paste and mix well.
  7. Boil for 10 minutes and off the flame.
  8. Finally, sprinkle some asaali and serve mild hot
  9. Karkkidaka kanji or Karkidaka Marunnu is ready.
