Ingredients
  • Tomato - 3
  • Onion - 3
  • Chili powder - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato sauce -1 tbsp
  • Salt - As required
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds- ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Instructions
  1. Chop tomatoes and onions
  2. Add oil to a Kadai and splutter mustard seeds
  3. Add chopped onions and curry leaves and sauté till they slightly start to brown.
  4. Mix red chili powder and tomato sauce with the chopped tomatoes
  5. Add this to the sauté onions
  6. Add salt & mix well
  7. Add 2-3 tbsp of water, mix well and close with a lid.
  8. Cook on simmer for 5 minutes
  9. Tasty and easy tomato fry is now ready. Serve with chapatis,Roti etc.
