Double Dark Chocolate Cake Recipe

1. Maida -1 3/4 Cup
2. Sugar – 2 Cups
3. Cocoa powder- 3/4 Cup
4. Baking soda- 2 Teaspoon
5. Baking powder-1 Teaspoon
6. Salt- 1/2 Teaspoon7.Egg – 2 8. Curd- 1 cup
9. Vegetable oil- 1/2 Cup
10. Vanilla essence – 1 Teaspoon
11. Coffee- 1 Cup


1.Preheat oven to 180 Degree Celsius
2.Line an 8-inch cake tin using butter paper
3. Make coffee by boiling 1 cup water and 3 Teaspoon coffee powder and keep it aside. Let it cool down
4. Sift together all the dry ingredients. (1 to 6) and keep it aside.
5. In another bowl, beat 2 eggs and combine all the wet ingredients i.e, curd, oil, and vanilla essence.
6. Add the dry ingredients into this and mix
7. Add coffee to this and mix well
8. Pour the cake batter into the prepared tin
9. Bake for 45 mins or until a toothpick inserted will come out clean
10. Let the cake cool in the pan for 30 mins then invert the cakes onto a wire rack
