Payasam is generally of two types pradaman, the one made using coconut milk and jagree and payasam is made using milk and sugar. I am delighted to share this tasty and delicious Payasam recipes with you. This payasam is very simple to prepare and doesnt take much effort but is very tasty. This payasam is prepared using slow cooking method.This slow simmer gives its own rich taste to the payasam. It is rich ,creamy and tastes heavenly. This payasam does not need raisins or nuts as the taste and flavor of the milk itself is divine.Hope you will try this recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 ltr milk
- 1 cup broken wheat
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup condensed milk ( Optional)
Method
- Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Reduce the flame when it boil and keep stirring in between until it reduces in volume.
- Add the broken wheat/Suchi gothambu into it and stir in between until it is cooked .
- Add sugar into it when the gothambu is cooked well. Cook until it reduces in volume.
- Add condensed milk . Serve hot.
